The Best Tennis Shoes I Ever Wore

The best tennis shoes I ever owned were hard to give up. They were K-Swiss tennis shoes. I wore them hard, and when I needed them most, they were there for me. A lot of people wear shoes once or twice, then go out and buy a brand new pair every week. Not me. Those shoes and I were inseparable. They lasted about 6 years before I finally decided to let them go. They had served their purpose, and whoever had made those shoes would have been happy to know that I had used them to their full potential.

Why is it that tennis shoes are not as highly regarded anymore? People are going for the shoes that basketball players wear, all flashy and designer, but I think the tennis shoe is where it's at. They're sporty, and keep you upright and balanced throughout your day. And, of course, my favorite are the K-Swiss tennis shoes.

The best tennis shoes I had and I saw miles of terrain. They were with me in college, and with me at 3 different jobs I held. I wore those shoes to the Riverwalk in San Antonio, and down the back alleys of Austin, TX. They were my go-to pair of running shoes, and they kept me free of joint pains every time. Those shoes carried me for miles of sidewalk and track jogging.

Funny thing about tennis shoes is that hardly anyone that wears them actually uses them to play tennis! I didn't want to be one of those people. I wanted to play tennis in my shoes, and I did. Of course tennis is a team sport, and it didn't hurt to have the company of my friend, who also wore tennis shoes.

In the end, it was hard to say goodbye. I began noticing that the back heel of the shoe had a plastic piece that was beginning to dig into the back of my right heel. I knew it was time to put my best tennis shoes down. I ended up heading to my local sporting goods store, and again, I asked to see their selection of athletic shoes. I wanted something that was going to be just as comfortable as my last pair. I wanted a pair that would translate "me" to the rest of the world; a shoe that had my name written all over it. I found what I was looking for in a new cross-country tennis shoe made in the USA.

Squash Equipment for You!

Squash is one of the fastest growing games in the US. And, in my opinion, it's one of the best games that you can play. It is the best exercise that you can get playing a game. Squash descended from at least five different games including tennis, racquetball, and hand ball. Racquets is considered to be the direct parent game for Squash. It has been played since the middle of the 1800's. Like Squash it is also played by using a racquet and by bouncing the ball against a wall with either two or four players.

But in order to play you will need squash equipment like squash racquets, squash balls, squash goggles, and squash shoes. The best way to purchase squash equipment is from a squash pro shop. They are very easy to find on the web. All you have to do is type in a term relating to the game like squash balls or squash pro shop and dozens of websites will pop all offering you awesome deals to buy your equipment.

Squash has certain specialized equipment like squash goggles and squash shoes to help improve your game. Squash shoes help players to better grip wood floors that might otherwise be slick and easily slipped on, not only does this help you move but protects your ankles. They are very similar to specialized shoes like tennis shoes or cleat shoes used in soccer.

Squash goggles are used by some players to help protect their eyes from the fast moving balls that often bounce off of a wall heading towards the face. This is especially dangerous as they can land in an eye bruising it, or even causing blindness. This makes goggles very useful to players, especially children or people just beginning to learn how to play the game and may not have as quick of a reaction time.

Squash was once called squash racquets in order to describe the squashable rubber squash balls that it is played with. The name changed though as it became more popular among the general public. Today the game is so popular that it is in contention to become an Olympic sport in 2016 at the Rio de Janeiro in Brazil thanks to the success of the squash pro tour.
